Bio
My name is Christine Benson.
I am a Registered Nurse, British Association for Cardiac Prevention and Rehabilitation (BACPR) Exercise Instructor, a GP Referral for Exercise Instructor and a Level 4 Registered Exercise Professional in The Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity (CIMSPA) Level 4.
I have dedicated more than 30 years to helping people with heart conditions regain confidence, strength, and quality of life through safe, effective exercise.
My clinical background includes over a decade as a Specialist Nurse in Cardiac Rehabilitation at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge. I now continue this work at Nuffield Hospital Cambridge, supporting individuals recovering from angina, heart attack, stent procedures, and cardiac surgery.
Studio Cycling is my favourite workout, but I also love gardening, golf, baking, crime novels, and time with friends.
My philosophy is simple: everyone can do something. Activity doesn’t have to be perfect — it simply has to be possible.
My aim is simple: to help you understand your condition, feel confident in your body again, and discover the kind of movement that makes you feel capable, hopeful, and in control. You are stronger than you think.
